DESCRIPTION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The tool has a strong structure that allows you to hold a heavy string of broken cable or wire with a lost wireline tool or a dewaxing scraper.

Reinforced prongs directed inwards allow you engaging a tight ball of wire or cable and withstand a heavy load when being pulled up the tubing.

Fishing operations are carried out after the well is killed. "Pike's grab" is recommended to be used in combination with a stem. To prevent such cases, the installation of no-go rings is recommended as a preventive measure. In this kind of work, it is strongly not recommended to use a lead seal, since it presses the coils of cable or wire during the run, and requires complicated corrective actions to remove the tight seal.
